"Insidious" is the story of a very gifted athlete, his morally weak manager, his father-like coach and the sinister company that through deception, blackmail and even murder is seeking to take over the athlete's career for their own twisted purposes. The story highlights how the manager's vices puts the well being and future of the organization he should be running at risk - opening the door for the sinister company to usurp the influence of the caring coach and assert more and more negative influence over the athlete.
"Insidious" draws its themes from the story of Jezebel, King Ahab, Elijah and the Mount Carmel confrontation that decided the fate of Israel at that time. The story is detailed in 1 Kings 16, 18 and portions of 1 Kings 21.
