"The colour was so fantastic compared with his surroundings and so beautiful that he could not eat it, but chose instead to look at it." i want to twist this into a dark tale.
The Day Michaels son dies, he will be holding a apple. this apple will drop to the floor and catch Michaels eye as he runs away into the forest. Moments after trying to get over his sons death he is captured and tortured by a gang of people who leaves him imprisoned in a abandoned building. 2 years later at "The District" He will get given a apple by one of the members giving out food. This apple makes his child appear with him. He starts loosing his mind and think his child's real again. he looses communication with everyone at the distract and lock himself in his own quarters. This Apple doesn't just have the power to keep Michael alive but it also has the power to make him see his Son again. Now Michael has to choose weather to eat the apple and never see his son again or wait around to see him in the afterlife.
Story of psalms: Honesty Psalms 10.2: Wicked chase down the weak Meanwhile, the wicked are proudly in hot pursuit of those who suffer. Let them get caught in the very same schemes they’ve thought up! My connection: The outsiders torture survivers Purley for the reason their in charge. When Michael dies he has gone to a better place leaving the outsiders on a destructive dead earth. Story of Brian: It was this honesty about tough times that appealed to a journalist called Brian Keenan. Brian was a journalist who was taken hostage in the Lebanon in the 1980's and held in solitary confinement and in the dark for many years. He was subject to mock executions, moved blindfold in the boot of cars and denied human contact. On one occasion he was given a Bible and found great comfort in the words that the authors of the Psalms used. The connection with colour was that on another occasion he was given an orange. The colour was so fantastic compared with his surroundings and so beautiful that he could not eat it, but chose instead to look at it My Connection: The same but the son being connection to the colour
