The Innkeeper

Winner of The Pitch 2022, The Innkeeper follows Holly, a spirited eight-year-old who lands the role of the innkeeper in her class nativity play. Director Paudie Baggott brought Deegan’s script to life and shot the film in Dublin in 2022. Production support came from Reel Issues Films producer Luke Walton and Jackie Sheppard of Footprint Films, and production services were provided by Irish production company, Escape Pod Media. 

When spirited eight-year-old Holly lands the part of Innkeeper in the school nativity play, she battles her perfectionist teacher who insists that she "stick to the script" and refuse Mary and Joseph a room.
